The groundhog was right this year - spring is here early for real estate*

Groundhog day was cloudy this year, so the groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow. Spring is coming early - yea! That is especially true for the real estate market. It is becoming more balanced which means a declining median price, more inventory and a higher number of days homes are on the market before going under contract.

We must eliminate tying these factors to signs of a bad market. Remember: In real estate, there are always going to be two parties — buyers and sellers. While the sellers have been in control of these prolonged conditions for several years, the buyers have had no choice but to weather the season.
